Supermodel Kate Moss is engaged to rock star James Hince. The Kills guitarist proposed to the iconic model on her 36th birthday last Saturday.
Stunning diamond engagement ring
Hince flew out to where Moss was working on Mustique, a small private island in the West Indies, and proposed with a stunning diamond engagement ring, reported the Daily Mail.
“Kate was stunned,” a friend told the newspaper. “Jamie called her up and told her not to come home. He said he was flying out to Mustique. He had carefully picked a ring and chose her birthday to propose.
“It was the first time they had been alone together in quite a while and it was extremely emotional,” the friend added. “Kate and Jamie are in a very good place, they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good.”
Top Shop mogul, Philip Green, reportedly helped Hince pick out a diamond engagement ring. Moss designs a successful line for the fashion retail giant.
Moss, 36, and Hince, 40, have been dating steadily for two years. Moss met Hince when mutual pal Sadie Frost introduced them backstage at a Kills gig.
The supermodel was infamously scouted by Storm model agent Sarah Doukas and kicked off the waif trend with her petite size and unconventional height.
The model and designer has a 7-year-old daughter Lila Grace from a previous relationship. She was also engaged to Babyshambles rock star Pete Docherty in 2007.
