The most expensive footwear ever designed and made is now on sale in the UK, The Times of India has reported.
The Eternal Diamond Stilettos, a pair of solid gold and sparkly diamond-encrusted shoes is worth £100,000. Five pairs of the sparkly stilettos have been sold. Each pair is adorned with 2,200 diamonds and is o the wish list of celebrities including Cheryl Cole and Paris Hilton.

Requests for symbolic crown jewel to be returned to India refused

IDEX Online has reported that the symbolic Koh-i-noor diamond will not leave the United Kingdom, despite requests from India for the sparkly, stone to be returned.
The Prime Minister David Cameron has said the 106-carat precious stone will not leave British shores and is heading to India next week to strengthen ties between the two homelands of the stone.

Sparkly designs and dances at Shanghai World Expo

A recent Italian fashion show at the Shanghai World Expo featured haute couture dresses from Italian designer Anton Giulio Grande and jewellery created by eight traditional Italian goldsmiths.
The evening gowns described as ‘sensational, aggressive’ by Shanghai Daily featured designs decadently embroidered by hand with precious stones including diamonds, rubies and emeralds, and lace. The designer even revealed sewing machines are banned from his studio.
