Diamonds took centre stage once again at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards.
Broadcast live from Los Angeles, the SAG Awards, took place last weekend at the LA Shrine Exposition Center. Striking earrings, bracelets and rings, in combinations of two or three were a hot favourite.

The world’s most famous ‘unseen’ diamond has been seen once again in Washington DC.
The Wittelsbach-Graff Diamond was last publicly seen at the 1958 World Exhibition in Brussels. After that, the precious blue stone, originating in India, mysteriously disappeared. It was then bought at auction in 2008 by billionaire Laurence Graff (who appended his name to the diamond).

Macy’s has launched a diamonds competition for romantic tweeters.
The iconic American department store is inviting sweethearts to ‘tweet’ and share their most romantic and original Valentine’s verse for the chance to win a diamond pendant necklace or diamond ring!
From Monday February 1, 2010, to February 13, Macy’s will choose the ‘sweetest tweet posted’ (which must include ‘SweetestTweets’ in the 140-character message) and give its winning writer a diamond pendant.
