Hairspray key clue to world’s largest diamond robbery

Investigators believe an important clue has been found that may help recover the glittering haul from the world’s largest diamond robbery, reported The Sunday Times.
Up to £350m in diamonds, cash and other valuables were stolen seven years ago from the Antwerp Diamond Centre in Belgium. Four gang members were jailed at the time but the diamonds have still not been found.

Actress Sienna Miller has been spotted wearing the diamond engagement ring given to her at Christmas in 2004 from actor and former-fiance Jude Law.
The engagement between the two actors caused public controversy when Law had an affair with the nanny to his children and issued a public apology to Miller. The couple separated that November.

Nicole Richie announces engagement with $250,000 diamond ring

Socialite and designer Nicole Richie flashed her sparkly diamond engagement ring, estimated to be $250,000, last night at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York City.
Richie confirmed on the Late Show With David Letterman she and partner Joel Madden are engaged and are planning to tie the knot this summer.

The world's largest diamond producer, De Beers, fell $220m (£140m) into the red last year, the Guardian has reported.
In a statement the group which controls about 40% of the rough diamond market, said: ‘In the consumer markets we believe global demand for diamond jewellery declined for the full year in the low single digits, although the fourth quarter showed an improved and positive trend on 2008. Rapper Lil Wayne has had his prison sentence postponed this week because of his valuable, sparkly diamond teeth.
The New Orleans rapper (born Dwayne Carter, Jr.) has a platinum and diamond grill worth $100k which he is having temporarily removed because of threats from inmates, reported the LA Celebrity Headlines Examiner.
