X Factor star wears £100,000 of diamonds during performance

X Factor contestant, Stacey Solomon, wore £100,000 worth of rented diamonds during her performance ‘Who Wants To Live Forever’ on the ITV talent show on Saturday night.
Solomon wore a full diamond cuff from American designer Gregg Ruth set with 36 carats of diamonds, diamond chandelier earrings and a circus ring for her live performance.

Zimbabwe free from diamond ban

Zimbabwe’s government will not export controversial diamonds from its Marange diamond mines until it has put in measures to better monitor trading in the stones, Bloomberg newswire has reported.
“Zimbabwe agreed not to export Marange diamonds until the monitoring mechanism is established,” Ian Kelly, a spokesman for the U.S. State Department, announced in an e-mailed statement this week.

Sky News has reported Zimbabwe is facing an international ban on the sale of its diamonds over allegations of a crackdown in the country's multi-million dollar mining industry.
