A sparkly set of diamonds worth £128,000, worn by Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh, has been stolen in a raid on a courier bike. The Daily Mail reported the 27-year-old pop singer wore the diamonds with a flowing white dress designed by Jenny Packham at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards a fortnight ago. A unique diamond decoration has been created, worth £82,000, called the ‘Christmas Tree Bauble.’ Hallmark Jewellers of Titchfield, Hampshire revealed the 18-karat white gold sphere set with 1,578 diamonds in a VIP gala evening at the store. Sotheby’s auction sets new world records with rare diamond sales

Three new world records were set last week in Geneva with the sales for diamonds at Sotheby’s ‘Magnificent Jewels’ sale. A 3.17-carat Fancy Intense Blue diamond was sold for £1.53 million to Swiss jeweller Chatila who also bought a 74.8-carat vivid-yellow diamond ring for £1.9 million.
